June 2010

  • Prevents an error mode caused by switching input ports in “Live” mode. The unit now always starts in “NO TEST” mode when the input port is switched.

April 2010

  • Changed digital level tag to say Digital instead of Video
  • Redesign of web interface for ease of use.
  • Spectrum Live View Redesigned.
  • Added Long Term Bit Error Rate to live View Mode
  • Added VSB constellation to Live View Mode
  • Added Constellation Zoom to Live View Mode
  • User customizable time out to Live View Mode.
  • Removed Live Mode from SNMP.

September 2007

  • Improved Switch Calibration when using 1x4 or 1x16 switches

November 2006

  • Incorporated latest Signal Level Driver
  • Incorporated latest Enhanced Digital Video Board Driver (IL-X)
  • Added Unit Startup Time to Info Web Page
  • Added Trilithic Graphic to Home Web Page
  • Enhanced Scanning and Trap issuing algorithm (increases speed)
  • Eliminated the potential for Internet communication breakdown due to network latency by accommodating packet delay through extended DSPh wait time
  • Fixed the Annex A BER math
  • Changed all measurement modes and data gathering to be more efficient, quicker, and more accurate. This is a significant change in measurement techniques by optimizing memory, measurement time, and Main Processor / DSP synchronization
  • Fixed Audio measurements below -20dBmV on channels wider then 6MHz

July 2006

  • Remote Control Function now supports Firefox 1.5.0.4, Internet Explorer 6, and Internet Explorer 7 Beta
  • Starting with this firmware release, you can upgrade either your 870 MHz or 1000 MHz meters (860 DSPh) with the same firmware and algorithms.
  • Formal CI-4 Support
  • Red LED now will blink on error conditions as follows:
    • Unsupported Hardware (5 blinks) - Should only be seen at the factory
    • Flash Drive Needs Formatting (4 blinks) - Should only be seen at the factory
    • Hardware Malfunction (3 blinks) - Over Temp, Under Voltage, etc
    • User Configuration Problem (2 blinks) - No channel plan, No Network Config, No SNMP Config
    • User Configuring Device via Serial Port or Network Connection (1 blink) – WorkBench or HyperTerminal
    • Solid Red - Device Operating Normally
  • Green LED provides Status as follows:
    • Off – Unit is in Idle Mode (not measuring anything)
    • Blinking – Unit is in Scanning Mode (normal operation)
    • Solid Green – Unit is in Live mode (lasts up to 1 minute)
